My goal in this space is simplicity. Don’t get me wrong, I love a li’l glam moment myself. But I want to remove the pressures of a studio, bright lights, and clothes and makeup you aren’t used to. If you’d like, I'm happy to provide references to some of my favorite local hair & makeup artists!
Your photoshoot is about YOU! I’m going to ask you to share a playlist - whatever makes you want to dance and have fun. If you’re typically camera-averse, no worries. We’ll work together to make this space comfortable for you to move around in whatever way makes you feel good. That’s how we bring your creative vision to life and let your personality shine. The words “not photogenic” are banned when you’re with me. So come as you are; all are welcome here. There’s a little bit of magic in everyone.
Now, a little bit about me…
I’m California born and raised, and landed in Oregon in 2021 by way of Idaho and Washington. My vision boards are chock-full of ocean waves, lush forests, and that perfect golden hour *chef’s kiss*.
I’ve loved being behind the lens for as long as I can remember, from pre-digital days of roll film and the Polaroid Supercolor to my latest Sony mirrorless full frame. In high school and college, I took a handful of photography and creative arts classes that allowed me to hone my craft. And I only fell more in love.
Outside of this, I have a full-time job in the healthcare industry. When I’m not working, you can find me jamming to early 2000s pop punk, going for a long swim, finding new foodie spots, or snuggling up with my baby calico, Coco. I love to travel; my last big trip was to Iceland in October last year, and this year I hope to make a fall trip to NYC! The song that never fails to bring me joy is (believe it or not) “Light On” by Maggie Rogers.
Okay, let’s talk logistics real quick.
Deposits & payments - Pricing and package details can be found here. A non-refundable booking deposit of 50% is due no later than 48 hours after confirming your photoshoot date. Your timeslot will become available to others if your deposit is not received on time. Photos will be ready approximately two weeks after your shoot. At that time, the remainder of the payment is due before the photos are shared. Deposits and payments can be made via Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp, or cash. No checks, please.
Scheduling & cancellations - All booking requests should be made here. I will do my best to get back to you within 5 business days! Once scheduled, you will be allowed one reschedule using the same non-refundable booking deposit. Additional reschedules may incur a fee. Sometimes things just happen - illnesses, emergencies, ya know… life. If you need to reschedule, please reach out ASAP so we can work something out.
Locations & travel - While I love exploring new places, due to working a full-time job, my ability to travel outside of the PDX metro area is limited. At this time, my typical radius extends to Vancouver, Gresham, Lake Oswego, and Hillsboro. Depending on a number of factors, I might make exceptions for the following locations:
California: San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, Walnut Creek, Livermore, San Luis Obispo, Avila Beach, Montaña de Oro, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Mission Viejo, La Jolla, Coronado
Oregon: Cannon Beach, Salem, Corvallis, Eugene, Bend
Colorado: Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins
Idaho: Boise, Eagle, Meridian
Arizona: Phoenix, Scottsdale
Washington: Seattle
Minors & accommodations - For anyone under 18 years old being photographed, an adult over the age of 18 must be present for the entire duration of the shoot. Even if we’re only using it as a prop, no alcohol will be allowed at the shoot if anyone under 21 is present. While pets are not allowed at the shoot, trained service animals are welcome per ADA laws. If accommodations are needed (mobility, Deaf/hard-of-hearing, etc), let me know how I can help!
